OMG!!! Wait, what? it is still only "sold out". Does not mean squat...

Just messing. For those who do their research and know this set has only been live for 3 months know the odds of this being eol are slim.

  • I'm 99% sure the Curiosity rover is gone for good.  I've checked with the powers responsible multiple times, just to be sure.  The remaining 1% uncertainty is just a result of my own naive hope, becau

Most likely my last post on this thread.  I sold my last 21104 for $800 FBM back in November 2021.  This was by far the best investment I ever made.  I would go as far as putting 21104 as the PER

It's now labelled as "Call to check product availability". Gave it a shot just for the hell of it and the CSR told me that is an error on the site as they are not getting any more in stock.

Take that with a grain of salt though, just a CSR :P

"OMG!!!" then...

To throw this mess into another loop of no one knowing what Lego is doing anymore - and probably not even Lego at this point - I ordered one last night over the phone, despite it stating out of stock.  Just shipped this morning.  There is absolutely no logic whatsoever, but they did tell me that UK has a bunch....maybe they'll get some from over there?  No idea.

It's done. I know this because I just said it without thinking about it.

This reminds me of my favorite quote from The LEGO Movie:

"And all this is true, because it rhymes."

I called up, and they said it is done, and they are not ordering anymore as it was on a limited run in the US.  Done and done.

What is anyoying is that I can't use my US credit card to have them delivered to a UK address, through their UK site.  Still at GBP 29.99, not sure if $50 US is a great deal..thoughts?  I have one of these for myself, but the limited run on these in the US, makes this pretty valuable/rare.

I highly doubt this, but if it was true these things would skyrocket.

I spoke to Lego customer services and asked to purchase one.  They said they are sold out, and have none on back order, and it was a limited run.  I may have spoken to someone at the Lego SH who was misinformed, but that was her reply as she checked her inventory.

Just spoke to someone else to try and have some shipped to the UK, and he wasn't sure if they'll be any more in the US, so really 50:50 until we see retired product.

What!? This morning it was still in stock on shop@home in Germany. I ordered one. So I guess I can whistle to it!?
