  • I'm 99% sure the Curiosity rover is gone for good.  I've checked with the powers responsible multiple times, just to be sure.  The remaining 1% uncertainty is just a result of my own naive hope, becau

Most likely my last post on this thread.  I sold my last 21104 for $800 FBM back in November 2021.  This was by far the best investment I ever made.  I would go as far as putting 21104 as the PER

So let me ask the next logical question:  For the members who think this will be a highly sought after limited production set, what is stopping you from offering say $70 to everyone who wants to sell their copy right now ?  If the set's future valuation is $140, there is still quite a profit margin left on the table.  This would be similar to what the-one-who-shall-not-be-named-from-UK did with 41999.

Yes, the poor guy is stuck with loads of 41999s that may never again be worth as much as he paid. That's why my personal golden rule is to NEVER pay over RRP for anything.

I saw a whole bunch of these in a store on the weekend and didn't realize they were so limited. I think I'll head back pronto and pick up a bunch.

If they are MSRP, I`d buy every single one, no questions. It`s only a matter of time before  :money:

One closed in the mid $40's on ebay the other day. Even shipped BIN's can be had in the mid $60's. Although it's not that difficult to get multiples from LEGO Shop at Home for retail.

Even better, I can get a 10% discount.

Not anymore... It does not even say "ships in 30 days", or "ships March 26". Just good old "Sold Out"

I meant once it's back in stock.

It will definitely not going to be in stock at least until March 26 (if ever). March 26 was the last non-OOS status as of yesterday

I'm buying as much as I can when I can but, not a penny over RRP.

Who has seen these in store? My store said they were online only.

Go to a Legoland park or Discovery Centre

These are sold out and I just talked to my friend at lego and he said that from what he has heard, they aren't coming back. It was an extremely limited run, online only, 1 per household. I think it's gone for good!! Glad I snagged a few.

Cheapest on fleabay is $63.47. Worth it at that price? I only got 2 of these.

Got only two as well... remember myself yesterday debating internally whether or not I should swallow the shipping fee or bundle it with something else... didn't do either... and now, how they say it, "poof" ?

Stock levels are very thin on e bay

Lucky british... they have "limit 5" and it is still available for shipping, although on Feb 13. Maybe I should try to ship to one of our offices in UK...

Also available in Germany. Not in Canada though..

This makes me curious if they will bring it back. We`ve seen it before, very limited quantities go very fast, but only time will tell if this will be the case here. If they really are so concerned about the "fans" why do this? Why not produce a larger quantity? Especially for a CUUSOO project. Of course I expected it to sell quick, but not 27 days into available. Was thinking more along the lines of 5-6months. Anyway, here I am caught with my pants down without one   Guess I`ll order one off ebay .
