Well I totally missed this announcement, but it looks like there's a Lego Friends video game coming out.

That completely flew under my radar. Well, it certainly looks colorful and vibrant!

Boo for making the game for Nintendo DS and 3DS only. They should have just created the game as an app for handheld devices. That would be a guaranteed success

Good for the theme, but if it is just for the DS then that is rather limiting.

I think its because more girls percentage wise own a DS rather than a regular system. I really don't think many girls in the age range they are targeting have or even want a PS or an Xbox.

And even more have or have access to either ipad or android based tablets. Tablets and apps are the future of touch screen based games, not NDS. Plus it will make OrcKing less awkward getting caught playing Friends games on his iPad than NDS ;)
