Maybe you could get a different level award for every time you write 25 more reviews, so that there could be review ranks such as the posting ones.  The same thing could go for EC and blog posts, with members leveling up after every four or five articles.  Obviously, Them members who win the different prizes in the contests should get permenant award badges for this, because it is deserved for people like Fcbarcelona101 who has worker really hard on reviews AND EC articles, and because there will most likely be more contests in future.

Another idea would be to list a members Brickpoint total in their portfolio or on the forums so that mebers can see them without going to the BP page.  There could additionally be rank badges with funny names for number of SW polybags the member has amassed.

I'm out.

Derailer- for members who enjoy tangents

Maybe the "off topic" award but:  What is up with the "Brick Troller" dude under our member avatar?  It sounds like a LEGO pervert or something.

Ed explained that in another thread. Comptroller is a synonym for a financial controller.

The troll is based on the finance term...Comptroller.  As for some of these errors, they will be addressed in the next week or so.  The forum conversion is not a simple process and unfortunately, the programming language that the forums are written in is not what Jeff works with, so he is learning it and hiring people to help him with issues.

The Self-Liker: Someone who "likes" (vote up) their own posts frequently.

Linker: Someone who posts lots of links.

Specialist- for members who only collect a certain theme, or minifigures, or vintage, etc.

I know Diablos80 already mentioned a specialist award (Great idea IMO!), but I have a similar suggestion.

_____ Expert: Given to a member who is knowledgeable in a certain Lego theme.

Examples: Lego Star Wars Expert, Lego City Expert, Lego Space Expert, etc.

EDIT: Icon Ideas

"The Self-Liker": Thumbs up or an arrow pointing up

"Linker": Fake website link or a bunch of Lego Technic links.

"_____ Expert": Depending on what theme they are an expert in they could have the theme's name as the icon. (See pictures.)

I like this ideas from other members:

Specialist- for members who only collect a certain theme, or minifigures, or vintage, etc.
Powerseller- for members who run quality resell shops on ebay, bricklink, amazon, etc.
Lego Picker - for a person who always has flea market and yard sale finds
Clearance Freak - for someone who is always finding clearance deals

And I guess there must be an award for reviewers and people who write nice articles.

Holy crap, I only just started this topic yesterday and we already have a ton of great ideas! Thanks guys.

Lalalala for member with the most posts in "musical picks" thread (notice I did not put an s at the end of member)

That's an obvious stab at me, isn't it? :toclue: Well since we're on the subject, why not call the award "DJ" and have it look like the one from Series 8? :music:

Really like the Firestarter one. It's a way to recognize members that start good discussions!
