I'm not sure which forum exactly this best belongs in, but here's my question.

I've been beginning to enter my collection into my Brickfolio. (No simple task, mind you.) I'd barely started when a question arose: when entering the condition of the set (new or used) do I enter the current condition, or the condition it was in when I bought it?

To give an example; I bought 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase, new, unopened, for 15.99. I've opened it now, so it's used, but it was new when I bought it. Entering it into my Brickfolio now, do I mark it as new or used?

Any help appreciated!

It is the condition of the set when you list it. So since you opened the set, it would be considered used.

Exactly. If a set is opened and built, it is used. Opened, with the seals being broken, but never never built, with all the parts in the original plastic bags and box in great condition would be considered new(for the most part...LOL).
