Durham Cathedral, UK, building 100,000+ piece replica out of Lego. Volunteers wanted.

Hi, Today I attended a briefing session in Durham Cathedral (in UK), about a fundraising activity they are having where they are going to build a replica, and raise money by getting people to sponsor the bricks. It is going to be a minimum, yes minimum, of 100,000 bricks, and will be 3.7m x 1.7m x 1.5m (12ft x 5ft6 x 4ft11). It is being designed by a UK (I believe) company that works with Lego and designs/builds their Legoland models. Anyway, they are looking for volunteers to help build it, so thought I would share, though apologies on the lateness of the post as briefs were today and I found out myself last minute, but there may still be time to get involved if you contact them as the build is not starting until June. http://www.durhamcathedral.co.uk/introduction/news/446

If you are using a PC than follow these steps to resize the photo.

1. Open the photo and right click.

2. Click "Open with."

3. Click "Paint."

4. Go to the upper left side and you will see an option called "Resize." Click that.

5. Change the horizontal and vertical size of the photo. (Make sure they are set to the same number otherwise the photo will get distorted.)

6. Save the smaller photo and enjoy!

Thanks a lot. Now attached for anyone interested
