I have $200 in vip money at the lego store. Any thoughts on best way to invest it? Or better to continue building it up?

I'd use it on something that is about to go EOL...or hold on a little while longer and maybe grab a Tower of Orthanc.

R2-D2, or a train. Perhaps one of the earlier modulars. VW Camper and Sopwith Camel might be good bets too.

I agree. I would say Fire Brigade since that should be retiring soon; I mean the thing has been around long enough and Palace Cinema should be its replacement I would think. I second the Sopwith Camel and UCS R2-D2 most definately.

not available at the Lego stores anymore, that train left the station a few months ago!

I've heard that you can still pick up a ticket-to-ride on some auction sites...

I'm saving up my VIP points to put towards the Tower of Orthanc. I think it will be a great set for investment purposes. It looks amazing.

Invest or build? Invest: One (or several) of the above mentioned. VW Camper, Sopwith Camel, Orc Forge, Unimog. Build: I'd go with the Sopwith Camel, I put it together a week ago and it awesomeeeee! Also the Unimog could be a nice, challenging build too.
