4737-1: Quidditch Match.... Hold or sell?

Featured Replies

Purchased this set at $16 and am wondering whether to sell it now while I can double my or wait till the holidays. Any thoughts or suggestions?

It has some pretty phenomenal growth. 103% in the last 6 months. Plus it still grew over 3.3% last month, if that continues there is close to 40% return per annum there. Even if it slows dow a bit it still migh have 20% plus returns. I'd hold for a while longer if it were me, waiting until I see evidence of a few months of slowing growth.

I would hold. Just look at the minifig ratio - great value for such a small set, and figures exclusive to that set. I have a couple I just picked up and will probably hold them for a bit. The holidays is a good timeframe.

Thanks for the advise. I asked because I'm going to put some sets on eBay and was wondering whether to put this one on the list or not.

Like mentioned in the other thread, it could be a good strategy to sell now and reinvest, but I think this gets to $50 pretty easily and maybe more so if you can afford to hold, then hold.
