Maybe a new norm will start!!!!

Since all of the approved Cuusoo sets have been relatively small, I doubt that this Ghostbusters proposal will be greenlighted  in its current form.  The Ghostbusters Cadillac by itself seems closer in size to the proposals Lego has accepted in the past.

If we could at least get classic Ecto-1 with the four Ghostbusters, I would be so happy. ^_^

This Ghostbusters set has now reached 10,000 supporters. Sweet!

I wonder what the LEGO company would do if the following set below passes the review stage with the firehouse/car CUUSOO project. It already has 7,722 supporters.

It will be interesting to see what will happen to this set.

Fire Station would probably be considered a modular so by itself i would say 149.99. If the Ecto-1 and 4 Ghostbusters are included then more like 199.99. Honesty, i would like to see the Ecto-1 and the 4 Ghostbusters as the first Cuusoo set. Then expand it by doing the Firehouse with a lot of play features and some extra minifigs like Janine, Walter Peck, Egon in Lab Coat, and maybe Slimer. Then a third set of the apartment rooftop with the Ghostbusters covered in marshmallow cream, Dana Barrett, Louis Tully, and Zuul. Lastly, a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man as a stand-alone with Peck covered in marshmallow cream. 

I think what Lego may get out of this is that we need a whole Ghostbusters theme. Obviously this would be popular.

I think it would be popular, especially for those who watched the movies. I still have to watch them.

It's official. Chalk this one up in the Winner's column.

That's insane.  I'm all over this.  I was there in the theater.  I've watched that movie too many times to count.  I can still quote just about the entire script.

 

I know too many people in my generation that aren't AFOLs but would be all over this.  This is going to do well.

This set looks incredible!    With 4 minifigs and 500+ pieces, I wonder if the price will be slightly higher than the other cuusoo sets

Yep, with the station house it would've been in the $200-$300 range. Does anyone know if you can get the instructions from the original Cuusoo?

Looks great, but disappointed that no Slimer is included.   Will have to repurpose a Rotta.
