This one has absolutely exploded for being such a small set, I really wish I had gotten 10 of these instead of a couple of the large sets I have right now. We may not admit it often but the right small sets can hit them out of the park. However, knowing which ones will do this is a pretty big gamble.

I really like this set, and I was going to pick one up, but they went eol a lot faster than I thought. I think it's a really cool set. It must be pretty rare to already be going for $73 on Ebay...

If I had some, I'd probably look at unloading them soon, they will go for close to $100 on ebay now, I don't see the gains keeping up with their current growth for much longer. That would be a pretty nice return if you got this one for 50% off.

I snapped three of these up back in October. I think that unique little city sets often have good legs in the secondary market. The robbers car looks cool, it has a bear, which is pretty neat, and people really need a place (other than Lego police jails) to plot crimes and engage in crook-like behaviour. I wish I had another ten.

These only happens when no one stocks up on them. Had everyone pointed it out and stocked up on, things would be very different.

I have one of these that I intended to give as a gift. Son's not that into City stuff, so it got tucked away, didn't realize that it had been performing so well. Looks like it will be in the "sell" pile soon:-)
