May 5, 201312 yr Finally I was granted permission to buy and build a set. I have some limitations as I don't have a large space where to put this set once it's built. Also I must not exceed 150
May 5, 201312 yr Horizon Express. At the Lego Store, it looks really cool and it's a train. No explanation needed for that! Sopwith is also a good idea, but I have to say, I thought it looked a little too "blocky" when I saw it.

May 5, 201312 yr It depends what you liek really... If you like LOTR buy Helm's Deep If you like City buy Express If you like Star Wars I would buy Millenium Falcon If you like Modulars buy emmmm not sure whatever is cheapest and looks good in your eyes. If you like anything else i cannot help you
May 5, 201312 yr Just adding a few more..... If you like Castle/Kingdom theme I would go with the Joust set. If you like the Winter theme I would go with the Winter Village Cottage
May 5, 201312 yr I would see if you can scrape up enough for a Tower Bridge, if this is purely for building and display.

May 5, 201312 yr How about the B-Wing. I'm sure you can find a deal on them. I don't know why some people don't like them... they are gorgeous.
May 5, 201312 yr Author I would see if you can scrape up enough for a Tower Bridge, if this is purely for building and display. I'd get this one but I think it's pretty large and won't fit in the space I have set aside for this build.
May 5, 201312 yr Author The Joust set could be among the candidates too. I like LOTR/Hobbit but don't see myself building one of these sets now. The VW Camper could also figure in, it's MSRP is 99
May 5, 201312 yr The joust set is awesome but it's not the most fun build. I'd vote for the tower bridge.

May 5, 201312 yr The VW camper is probably my favorite build of all time. It's got a great color scheme, some really fun details, lots of micro builds, and it's a decent challenge. Plus, you can play with it when you're done. Vroooom!

Just as much as stepping on a 4x2 brick in the middle of the night. 42000 is in the mix too but again, dreaded stickers.
May 5, 201312 yr R2-D2 for sure if you can stretch the budget. The Camel or a modular are also good choices.
May 5, 201312 yr Author Tomorrow I'll go to the toy shop. I still have something like 18 hours before going there to take suggestions. Bring them on!
May 6, 201312 yr I see they still jack he prices up then. I remember moaning about that when I was a kid, it's why I was under the (mistaken) impression that everything was cheap I the UK. Back on topic, how about something like 7938 passenger train, a good build and rumored to go EOL soon.
