With the first wave of the LOTR sets to go in June time, which ones are the best to buy before that time. I currently have two of 9473 & one 9474. Thoughts anyone. Should I concentrate on the larger sets or will the small ones do well to?

I have gone for the bigger sets like helms deep because good discount when i bought them so which ever ones have best discount out of the three above.

Helm's Deep for sure and maybe some of the others. Check out the reviews here on the site for them, some people have written some very good new ones for the LOTR sets.

I'd try to get some Orc Forges for yourself to put with your Tower of Orthanc if you get one, a few forges for investment, and of course a Helm's Deep.

I am so glad that I have at least some of each of these sets, it makes the EOL go very exciting.

If anything I would make sure to at least secure a Helm's Deep. Uruk Hai Army should be able to be found longer, but you'll still want to make sure that you have one since its the companion piece. I would also buy Orc Forges and Weathertops right now even if full retail, as they seem to be disappearing first.

Both the larger ones, 9473 & 9474 I have got, they are both discounted approx 20% at amazon UK, as are some of the smaller to mid sized sets. I am wondering if I should get some of the small to mid size sets. Like shelob attacks.
