Thoughts on the 50% off b-wing rumors? didn't they have 50% off the winter village in lego stores a few months ago? I'm wondering if I should camp out... from what I've gathered the logic in discounting it that much is it isn't selling well and there are about to be a lot of large SW sets out at once

I curious as to which SW sets will have sales. If b-wing goes 20% is that worth it? Have there been previous sales for this that I have just missed?

I don't plan to buy anything other than my own 10240, but if any of the UCS sets has a decent discount I may have to get them... meaning at least 20%.

I don't have any B-Wings yet, but I've seen it at the Lego store. 20% off would be very much worth it. It's a pretty impressive looking design and bigger than the 3 3/4" version from the Hasbro action figure line.

The Winter Village Cottage was 50% off recently. However, It started at 20% off, then 30% off, and then finally went to 50%. Also, it was an overpriced set IMO. The Battle for Geonosis was on sale in stores for 50% off recently, so it's not unheard of. However, if I had to bet on it, I'd bet against anything being 50% off this time around.

Yeah, but those are not $ 200 sets. I get your point, everything is possible, but I doubt TLG would be willing to reduce a UCS set to half its retail.

Where'd you here about this? I think this is pretty unlikely that there will be a 50% off sale.

I got a post card type flyer in the mail promoting the May the 4th event the other day from LEGO and in very small print at the bottom it said "selected Star Wars sets on sale". *EDIT 0% chance the B wing will be 50% off!!!!

ouch only interest to me is palpatines arrest worth it to meet the $75 minimum at the 10%?

I'll be spending 75 bucks there that day regardless, so any discount at all would be nice, as I honestly wasn't expecting any.

The B-Wing will be 50% off.

If true, I'll be on it like stink on manure. I don't particularly like the ship itself, but to get it half off would be too much to pass up. The other sales don't interest me, can get better deals elsewhere by far.
