I recently was offered on Ebay a brand new, sealed 8458 for the price of $350 plus $20 for shipping. I understand that these sets are rare nowadays, and that some can go up to quite a bit. Although a total of $370 is a little bit over the budget that I wanted, is it still worth getting? Keep in mind that the set is brand new and sealed, and that these offers don't come often.

I'd say its worth it if you want it enough! I have one of these opened and its amazing.. so just figure out if its in your budget

I think $370 is worth it. Some of the more recent new ones have sold on eBay for $450.00, $500.00, and $449.99. The overall Brickpicker value of the last 30 sold on eBay is $390 new.

I'm still considering it. How much have you guys payed for other F1 racers such as 8674 or 8461? Is simply buying the 42000 for $130 a better deal?
