Well, after much speculation the time is finally here. Grand Emporium 10211 is apparently going EOL. It's no longer listed on any of the EU Amazon sites. Only available from 3rd party sellers that are charging at least 10

Hmmm strange I would expect the FB 10197 to go first. But thinking about it, the Cinema is a corner set like the GE

Don't think it is going EOL. Probably it is just temporarily out of stock so the third party seller becomes visible. Also I am sure that there is going to be another shipment of GE in October.

There is some reliable inside information circulating that this set is the next modular to be retired, and that it will be discontinued after the second quarter 2013. Time will tell...

I wouldn't be so sure as EU Amazon sites always offer the items even when they are out of stock with the promise of shipment once they arrive.

I was looking at the GE closely as they had it for 103

BTW, this is exactly what happened with the 10219 Maersk Train last year.

This set is still readily available on Amazon US, and LEGO Shop at Home. Plus, I've heard repeatedly that the Fire Brigade is supposed to retire before GE.

We've also been told that all the modulars are listed in the Lego wholesale order forms for the 2013 calandar year. My guess is they are just out of stock and more shipments will be available throughout the year. I will get lot more worried when Amazon US is out of stock. I think we still have time on both the Fire Brigade and GE.

I'm not sure why but all sets seem to go EOL first in Europe and a little bit down the road hits the US.

When Amazon US is out of stock, it may be too late...

I would be surprised if it was totally gone, a site my decide to pull a set from their offerings for many reasons, Walmart used to sell all sorts of large sets and now they have pulled the tower bridge, the fire brigade, grand emporium and pet shop from their site.

I think we will see this one back. I've bought a couple even after the rumors just to be on the safe side but I'm not to the point where I'm ordering two a day from amazon and stressing about it.

If you ask me, I don't think the Grand Emporium, or any modular is EOLing soon. Neither is the Live Star LOL

I managed to pick up one of the last GE from Amazon es, i ordeded the GE last March with a Sopwith Camel. The Sopwith arrived 1 week later GE was temp out of stock. I recieved the email a few days ago GE should arrive today, its now been pulled from there site so does look like it won't be restocked there. They have been discounting this set for the last few months

Again, I bought 10x Grand Emporiums 10211 from Amazon Spain (
