The film strip images on this are great. 

Very nice indeed. But if Lego can just add the film and all these specialized pieces that have become more prevalent, i dunno, methinks it diminishes lego as a system of interlocking bricks. Any model of anything can be made if Lego is willing to print custom pieces out of plastic, so its a slow crouch towards becoming a regular model company albeit predominantly of bricks for now. Not saying that that is bad necessarily, but the notion that "anything can be made from lego" is a myth if custom pieces are needed to achieve the effect.

LEGO becoming more and more like Mega Construx with all specialized components.

Having just visited Disney and being inundated with merchandise; the 100 makes it look too much like a souvenir instead of a Lego set. 

They are really pushing the Movie Camera agenda, 3 sets now, this is from the new Disney Castle. 

So the film is made from the same material as Ninjago Dragon wings.
