811 pieces and features a brick-built camera with film strip. It also has minifigures of Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Bambi, and Dumbo.

September 1st $100

The film strip images on this are great.

Very nice indeed. But if Lego can just add the film and all these specialized pieces that have become more prevalent, i dunno, methinks it diminishes lego as a system of interlocking bricks. Any model of anything can be made if Lego is willing to print custom pieces out of plastic, so its a slow crouch towards becoming a regular model company albeit predominantly of bricks for now. Not saying that that is bad necessarily, but the notion that "anything can be made from lego" is a myth if custom pieces are needed to achieve the effect.

  • TheOrcKing changed the title to 43230 - Walt Disney Camera

Having just visited Disney and being inundated with merchandise; the 100 makes it look too much like a souvenir instead of a Lego set.
