Probably because this is Canada and not the US.

and FWIW, Best Buy is IN A LOT OF TROUBLE now thanks to the growing pressure from Walmart, Target, and Amazon encroaching and beating them at electronics sales. I for one, would not shed a tear if they went out of business because of all the shady business practices they instill in their employees (e.***. forcing monster cables and extended warranties down people's throats).
