How many times can you put two LEGO bricks together before they break?

Featured Replies

The answer is 37,112 times!

A man built a contraption to test how many times two bricks could connect until they stopped connecting. It took him 10 days before they stopped connecting to each other.

Link.

This guy should now figure out how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop. :)

He should test how many times a minifigs arm must be moved up and down before a full crack opens along the length of the torso. :) All of the newer figs already have stress marks under the arms, so...

Reminds me of the experiment were they tried to find the crush weight needed to destroy a brick, crazy stuff.

I bet a 1x2 tile wouldn't last that long. I have to be careful with my rare color tiles, they lose their grip too quick.

Well, the grips on tiles are constructed differently.

+1, I play with mine too many times. I need to keep them in a case to preserve them. :)

Depends who is pulling them apart... me? maybe 100 times. My little brother from back when we were kids? Just once. Please don't chew on LEGOs. Spread the word.

The worst is trading with little kids, and when your investigating the deal, all the pieces are chewed/scratched! }:( Wast of my oh so valuable time! :D
