Anyone have experience creating an Ideas project?

I have a Moc that I built a few years ago. Back then I was going throw it into the Lego Ideas ring, but was kind of overwhelmed by the prospect of creating the images, etc.  seems like all the pros have a graduate degree in product photos and graphic design  

Has anyone done this before? 
Any tips, tricks?
