Just noticed that 9472 Attack on Weathertop is sold out online. Also there are at least 3 new LOR sets coming out in 2013, maybe time to start snagging last years sets?

Amazon discounted the Weathertop set awhile back and people gobbled them all up, doesn't look like it's coming back, so yeah, it might be retired. Also, my local Lego store is sold out of LOTR and all they seem to have now are the Hobbit sets.

I think im going to try and put away 2 of each set, in the end ill have one complete series for myself and one for resale, might even sell for a bit more that way.

If people haven't got a Helm's Deep set put away I suspect they will regret it

I still need to get one of these. How long do you think I have, wise one?

Only one smaller set from 2012 retired and the 2013s havent been released, probably atleast 3-6 months.

About this. They will all start drying up soon and then people will be a bit surprised when they disappear.

A thread that should be moved to LEGO LOTR forum not here.

Well, the original question does ask about the set being sold out/EOL.

I have moved it to the LotR section as well, all can sleep well now.

The set is SOLD out longer than last X hours, and it was talked about it in the LOTR forums, so this thread to me is a cheap way to gain Brickpoints and/or spam.

Everything written here could be simply added to LOTR 2012 sets discussion or whatever topic already existing on the LOTR forums really.

We had an entire thread devoted to Chuck Norris and you're worried about a EOL post about LotR being spamming? The thread is moved, nothing more to worry about.
