Has anyone else secured a copy of The Secret Life of Lego Bricks book? Also anyone got the unique Lego Pogo Stick piece that was the up-charge promotion that you could upgrade to? 

These pogo sticks and minifig are selling for crazy prices on ebay. Only a few have sold. 

 

Most people are posting theirs as red pogo sticks with minifig with printed shirt with space man on shirt.

Mine is blue pogo with generic red shirt minifig (no printing on minifig at all). 

Anyone else have any insight on these?

how come your doesnt have printing, was that a different tier to get that. or is yours a *rare* misprint  

There seems to be two combinations floating around.

Red pogo stick with a minifigure featuring a space shirt

Blue pogo stick with minifigure featuring a plain red shirt

I agree the space torso is cooler but not exclusive (can still be purchased on bricklink). https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=973pb0549c01#T=P&C=1

The main exclusivity is the pogo stick. I landed a blue one as a well.

Really interesting to watch the prices though, there is an auction going on currently that I am paying close attention to:

I'm still fighting with them over mine. It hasn't shipped yet.

I'm glad to hear the space shirt minifig isn't exclusive. Although it is cooler. Would be interested to know if one is more rare than the other (meaning the pogo stick color) not the minifig. 

 

I bought the book with the special lego piece upgrade when I bought the crowdfunded project. I think it cost me $90 total. Book alone was $50. So that $40 extra for the pogo stick was a good gamble. 

I posted mine in the rewards thread the other day and commented about the eBay prices

I have the space mini figure version. There’s been two sold on eBay for over 1000 bucks each already. Good times. 🙂
