Minneapolis guys - Huge lego lot on ebay

Featured Replies

Since I'm not very close and this guy wants an arm and a leg for shipping(at least twice what it would cost) I'm not terribly interested in this unless it comes in pretty cheap. But if you guys like to work with lots and this guy's offering free local pickup. About 90 sets listed with a used value on Brickpicker of around $3k. I rounded down on about every set too. This is not mine, I'm not selling this, but this could make a guy some good money if it sells for around $1500. Lots of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, City, Spongebob, and Agents mostly. I have made a lot of money buying these types of lots and sorting out the sets to sell individually. It is time consuming, but done in your spare time can be very profitable.

The minifigs alone are making me swoon! Jabba, Mr. Freeze, TWO Robins, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Spider Man, Two Face! I also think that I may have seen instructions for the Sandcrawler in there!

How do you find lots like these? Just Ebay or craigslist too? Every time I make a call on craigslist I get some slimy dude who's trying to scam me.

I search "lego lot" on ebay and start my search with "highest price first". It gets you to some of the cream of the crop listings and you can find some good lots. I never buy lots that don't have minifigures. That generally means any good piece has been sorted out by some bricklinker, and he's selling the dregs. Good ones like this that have figures pictured and manuals listed will be your best bet generally. Finding listings that are vague but you can tell what is in them are very good too.
