For all we know the seller just sent the entire box he received from LEGO Shop at Home and the buyer is talking about the free Mini Mech... I don't see why that comment suggests any kind of scamming.

I agree with both of you, this set is a wonderful LEGO set.  Period.  It is an amazing piece of LEGO technology and any twit that says it doesn't act like a real RC car needs to get a life.

I think most of us could be pretty satisfied with the fact that we can interact with a set (like remote control) and not look completely immature.

Thats wild! It doesn't even say sold out - its just gone. I wonder if they got so many orders they couldn't fill they just removed it?

I ordered 2 more a couple of hours ago and never got an email confirmation and it doesn't show in my order status at all.  I got the first 2 I ordered so at least I have those for sure.

I just got an e-mail to confirm that my set has finally shipped (ordered it at 9AM on Augsut 1st). It's now also listed as sold out on the Dutch/Belgian LEGO Shop at Home.

its already 330-350 on eBay....and next 2 days - 400-450, even 500....if its not coming back on LEGO Shop at Home.

Seems like an easy $500 set at Christmas if it really went this fast, no?

In response to the power issues being discussed, I think that because of the size of the set, many people, including myself, would like to see more power. In regards to my Bionicle collection that you guys know about, the $100 Manas set was remote controlled and moved pretty dang fast. Granted they were smaller in size but the power function of the set was more impressive.

I think if you can't even find the listing then it's gone for good. Usually it'll say sold out but this time the listing is not even there. I guess the only way to find it is through eBay. 

boy, many of you are really banking on this set to hit the stars ... for all of you guys sake, i hope it does ... i havent bought any due to its price and im just not that sold on it ... it will be a total fail if LEGO pushes out more than the 20,000 ... we shall all see ...

but i do have a couple of its les popular brother that im sure will hit nice numbers due to the 41999 rarity and over the top prices ...
