Perhaps the lack of lego stores in all markets, and the refusal to deal with toysrus and their mark ups keep people away from technic. If Walmart and Target carried this line at 20% off lego retail----there would be a lot more fans. A lot more.

Once upon a time, Technic sets were available at Walmart and Target but somewhere down the line the entire theme has become a Toys R Us exclusive and I have absolutely no idea why. Too bad really because there have been some great designs lately but the only place I could buy them from are two diifferent stores (Toys R Us & Lego Store) nowhere near me.

OK, just received an email from toysrus on the 4x4 crawler I ordered couple hours ago.  My order got cancelled and they sent me a full refund.

Mine was cancelled and after my purchase it said only 2 sold at that point. So Im guessing none went thru, or just the one person who checked out before me.

Do you think it is possible they have the sets but are cancelling orders from buyers that have bought one previously on TRU ebay since they have the 1 set Limit.

It's the same guy.  He bought mine too.  He's in UK.  its 3AM or something there.

He's totally legit (so far). I sold him 2 last week and it did take him a day or two to pay. Maybe he's waiting for the end of the week for cash flow issues which wouldn't be abnormal.

 

One of the accounts appear to be a business account and the other is a personal account just for buying all his crawlers. Lots of people have multiple eBay accounts to separate selling from buying.  

 

If I were him, I'd try and wait until after the 17th. If the politicians don't come to an agreement, it might spike the exchange rate in his favor.

markr3682 bought 3 crawlers from me, paid quickly, and left me positive feedback after he received them. should not be a problem.

Thanks toysrus for cancelling my order today.  I went to the Lego store after work and surprisingly they had one 4 x 4 crawler on the shelf.  Picked one up without any issues.

 

Also picked up the two remaining Transformer Metroplex from Costco.  Now I just need to figure out how to flip this baby for some profit.

San Jose has crawlers. They are putting only one on the shelf at a time, and I saw them deny someone a purchase once he gave them his VIP info.

I got one from the San Mateo lego store. They had one left on the shelf.
