I wholeheartedly agree and I already own every UCS Tie and voted for the UCS Tie Bomber a couple of years ago. 

However, there is one big problem - tie's are not popular, especially in UCS scale.  (Tie Bomber was a very distant 3rd in the vote).  It's the duplicity of the wings.  Large and repetitive is not fun.

The minifigs look good but, I wasn't impressed by the build. Don't know if my standards are too high as I built Jerac's TIE Bomber a year or two ago.

come on Lego, why so tiny as compared to other recent ships?  I am going to hold out for the UCS update that is bound to be coming.

I am a big fan of the Tie Bomber release, but especially since they included a Vader figure, this seems like a giant missed opportunity to have the ship be able to convert into a Tie Advanced as well.

Any concerns that the captain rex helmet will limit the stormtrooper helmet's march to $200?

if anything it hastens it.  well maybe.   the only thing stopping stormtrooper helmet from getting there is amazon pricing bot police blocking at $130.  they sell in under an hour at that price.

No way! Accelerates it at warp speed. This helmet line continuing is great for the predecessors

Princess Lea's thing looks to me more like a fancy smoothie / coffee maker than a helmet altho granted i am not familiar with source material

Obscure?? That helmet is from one of the most memorable scenes in the OT.

Easy to miss since that scene is just a few minutes before the most memorable scene in OT 😉

Actually was looking at my records yesterday. Appears I bought a couple of hundred at $35 from Kohls + Cashback.  Now I only wish I had bought more.

Funny how sets can flip to winners pretty quickly.

Patience is key to this business and unfortunately I possess little of this trait. Makes sense since on the side I day trade options on days of expiration. Extreme opposite sides of spectrum..

that helmet/disguise also comes up and does cameo in the Han Solo movie...I think

The helmet series have been really good for SW ...and but also starting to get pretty prolific

I think the volume does two things

makes popular past one more valuable

and now that it's reaching: too many to collect them all...range...some less popular ones will just be ignored...very Bhz-like
