Ninety years of LEGO products. Jeeze. The mini-builds are adorable and mostly iconic of the brand. 1100 pieces for $50 is a pretty good deal with a large variety of parts across many colors but unfortunately very few of any specific ones. At best there might be ten of any single piece type (such as a 1x4 brick for example). Whenever one has a specific build in mind you tend to need quite a bit more. Sounds silly to have so many parts yet still can't build anything. Well something that does not look like a multicolored monstrosity anyway. Ha.

I wonder for a person who "parts out" sets if this would be considered a dream or a nightmare.

Picked this set up for my stopmotion stuff. The minibuilds are prepackaged 2-3 a piece.  Really nice to not have to sort out every single color bag in order to make them.
