Mods please merge if a thread exists, I did not find one.

I am a life long fan of Batman.  When I am a a restaurant or fast food joint and they ask me for my name, I say "Batman". I have not watched the new movie yet, we just don't go to theaters anymore for no particular reason.

Anyways - I hope this muscle car Batmobile is awesome in the movie because building it does not make me think of Keaton's ride from 1989 or the Tumbler and definitely not the classic from the 60's I grew up watching in re-run.

The build is simple and has lots of detail for the engine.  What you see on the box is what you get. I don't know if the movie version has some grill mounted cannons but it seems like the launchers would take up considerable engine space with all those blue flames projecting around it - maybe they are not machine guns but some sort of missile launchers and the blue flames are vented exhaust plume. I passed on the technic version for now.  Scale wise, it does sit well with the recent Tumbler and the mini 1989 model that was part of the UCS set from years back. The Penguin does have a pistol which is a rarity for Lego these days. Took less than an hour to build, only dropped a few pieces under the couch.
