I couldn't be less interested. And even some of  the usual Lego hype channels on YouTube were rather lukewarm. It's a nice looking display model but boring build. And if I wanted to display a globe, I could just buy a globe.

 

yeah it's dull as heck. And LEGO misses out on it being an "educational" toy since it lack any details.  They should have at least made some micro builds of monuments and famous placed that can be place in their respective locations.  Alas, I'm sure a lot of grandparents still get this.

Don’t get me wrong - I want this. I want the World Map also, but I need them to come down in price a little to justify the PITA to build.

Same boat. I want to the wall map but the price is too steep. There is something about a paying so much for Lego dots does not sit right.
