Curious to why people think the Falcon is still available on some sites at the original price after being available for so long and why they keep pushing its retirement date back. Is it not selling as well being so big and expensive ?

    Why do you think it should be sold out?  It's a high price point toy.

    It's the flagship for the Star Wars Lego line of toys.  Until they have something else to take over that roll or have another revision in the works I would not expect them to retire it.

    Interesting take however they retire sets all the time without having a reiteration of it for years. Vaders Tie Fighter is one that comes to mind and needs to be remade. The original UCS Falcon lasted 2.5 years before retiring.
