So I have been offered $340 (well €290 in EU) for The Tumbler. Straight sale, no eBay fees etc. I know there's a new version due in November. Should I hold off for better price or is this an ok deal?

Personally, I listed mine yesterday for $300 on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace hoping for a quick sale. No bites yet.

I had two of the 2015 Tumbler sets and as soon as the rumors about a remake were becoming more reliable I put one of them up for sale. Sold it for €390 while others were still asking €400 or more for it.

Guess I'll just have to build the other one myself now, since I can't sell it for any profit with the remake coming up soon.

Just an FYI it was not an enjoyable build experience IMO. All black, trans stickers on trans pieces, and very fragile pieces fall off if you touch it. I am hoping that with the new one that they made it more sturdy.

Agreed, it's cool looking, but I disassembled it shortly after the build.

I've heard and read that multiple times before. That was mostly the reason why I haven't built it still until now. But with the new one coming out my chance for selling it with a good profit has flown. And when it's on display in a cabinet after finished building, the fragile nature of the set doesn't matter.

my son called it The Crumbler for the reasons mentioned above.

Good to know. Maybe with new one coming out I might sell 2nd one.
