I found this recently at MSRP, is it worth it? It hasn't appreciated a ton since EOL. Thoughts?

Every once and a while you will find these left over at Barnes and Noble (in store). Good set. Hasn't appreciated as much as it should have in my opinion.

Haha, I just submitted my first set review for this one, hope Ed and Jeff like it. I just found one at B&****** last week and picked it up. I think there's 3 positives for it that make it a solid investment. - Only Wampa fig - Inclusion of a Snowspeeder, an iconic vehicle (even though it's been done before) - Only set to feature that scene. Seems like a solid bet to get to $100 to me in a few years. And imagine if Hoth is included in a future movie?

this set was available in large quantities for $20 a year ago. target was dumping them on clearance. that's probably why it hasn't appreciated much.

I think that paying MSRP now is a good deal since the set is EOL. The wampa is definitely the driving force of the set. While there are Hoth sets out currently since none of them feature a wampa this should hopefully mean the set picks up in value soon until the next wave of Hoth rehashes comes out.

I think that sarm34 is right in saying that it will increase in value much more than regular MSRP, but I am not sure that it will increase all the way up to $100, but I can picture it going up to say $80.
