Wow, that is insane. I literally just went straight to WallyWorld and bought the original set (it's somehow still on clearance there for $200) just so that I can build this MOC instead!! Thanks for posting!!!

I ordered one from Walmart amazed that they still have this available online at the $203 Clearance price. Mine arrived today in a Lego shipping box first production run 36R2. This set really didn’t sell. 
 

I am not sure if I will ever build the MOC but 3 of the early reviews all mention issues with the head connection angle so be on the lookout for an update. 

50+ (average 75?) per day translates to 1500-2000 units per month. That is INSANE for 1) a walmart listing and 2) an  extremely unpopular expensive set. 

I wonder if it is driven by the remake MOC?

Yes, when I ordered mine last Thursday when the video came out it was 100 sold per day. There are links and comments on Rebrickable about the Walmart availability.
