Here's what matters in my sliver of the world. I have a son, or at least I think I do. He was born a boy and he's a manly boy playing with trucks, trains, monster trucks, and things like that. It's 7am and he's playing with my LEGO trains; he chose a 10194/10233/60051/60052 hybrid today. He's not interested in dolls, although I walk down the doll rows in the toy store everytime we go, in case he wants one, and to encourage diversity. I dress him in bold colours whenever I can, because I'm a male, and I look great in pinks, pastels, paisley, etc. That's particularly hard for a toddler because all the colours are blah, and traditionally "girlish" colours are girl cuts, or frilly, so that doesn't work as well.

People ask and I say he's a boy, but he can be whatever gender he wants (best if he picks one). The only thing that really matters is a person's individual happiness and why the F (big caps) do I care what makes someone else happy. Sure, one-hundredth of one-thousandth could take advantage of the situation, but the same percentage blow up synogogues, mass murder people in Vegas, other serious crimes, etc. The same percentage of the world are supposedly evil, however, society doesn't really do anything to sort out those issues, or deal with basic human rights. Yet how dare anyone not be male or female, because they'll corrupt everyone else, as if it were a virus.

Special interest groups on both sides are overbearing, and actually ruin their arguments, when valid. Reminds me of a Simpsons episode? "Are these morons getting louder or dumber?" "Dumber, sir."

It seems to me that LEGO is trying to be inclusive, and make money at the same time. Good for them and "in for three", as we used to say, in simpler times.

Yay LEGO!

I feel that many of you are way over analyzing this whole thing. Lego is putting out a set that is supportive of an under-supported segment of our communities. And that's a great thing. I'm a straight

The wonderful world of flowers alone would disagree. They're are all pretty kinky. And we can't prescribe concepts like male or female to other organisms, because they are human conceptions applied to

You're a man or a woman. Period. You can identify as what you want but that doesn't make it so.
Being something and identifying as something are two completely different things.

Agree. Disagree. Doesn't matter. That is just what it is.

For someone that grows MJ, you would think that you'd heard of a hermaphrodite,  lol......

🤔. I could say something but I won’t. Sounds like your son has got it figured out. I wouldn’t worry about him. My mom bought me a Barbie doll when I was little. Not because she wanted to encourage me to be diverse but because she herself liked Barbies.

Couldn’t find the thread but I know some of you were looking for this piece to complete your spaceman MOCs. There will also be 2 of them in this years Halloween  VIP pack.
