April 16, 201312 yr Check out his store.....Yes, this guy has high feedback, and definitely knows what he is doing with 100+ CMS listings. Making me think he's legit, but something doesn't seem right. What will really piss us all is when some random person comes out with 50 of these guys and sells them for $600 each in a couple hours.

April 16, 201312 yr JEEEEZUSS! Guess I gotta figure out how to get one at the lego store or http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Minifig-Custom-Mr-Gold-Replica-Series-10-Limited-Run-Will-sell-out-/221215016426?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item33817145ea LoL
April 16, 201312 yr Are you saying they are numbered? I don't see a number on mine anywhere. Hi all, I was lucky to find a mr. Gold today. Here is info about what I found. He is double bagged. A clear bag inside of the foil package holds him safely. His staff is made of two pieces with a diamond as the crowning glory for a total of three. I will not be opening his clear bag. in Oregon, USA
April 16, 201312 yr Author Are you saying they are numbered? I don't see a number on mine anywhere. I didn't think there would be a number printed onto the minifigure itself. Is there a number on the included leaflet? I found this enlarged image on one of the two eBay lots mentioned earlier in the thread. Oh, and good stroke of luck already finding a Mr Gold!
April 16, 201312 yr Will they finally be randomly placed in cases that are randomly shipped worldwide?
April 16, 201312 yr Will they finally be randomly placed in cases that are randomly shipped worldwide? no randomly, ofcourse LEGO will know how much they ship to Europe, USA, Asia etc... but thats about it then the random thing happens.
April 16, 201312 yr just saw another one on ebay, its only listed for 3000 us dollars lol what a joke
April 16, 201312 yr Ha ha. These things are appearing quickly. If all 5,000 come out in the first month or so, sales of the series will probably slow down considerably. Lego may want to hold a few cases that it knows have them in order to maintain hype.
April 16, 201312 yr I'll be buying one if I'm not lucky enough to get one, however it will definitely be in a couple of weeks/months when ebay is littered with them
April 16, 201312 yr For those in doubt, here's what it really looks like.I'll give you 10 times MSRP!!!! ;-)
April 16, 201312 yr I'll give you 10 times MSRP!!!! ;-)20x MSRP! Let's go, Ed, come at me, bro! :-) LOL
April 16, 201312 yr For those in doubt, here's what it really looks like. Can you tell any notable difference in size, weight, or aspect of the outside bag of Mr. Gold compared to the bags of the other minifigures? I just want to get an idea of whether or not the Mr. Gold bag will be heavier than the others. It should be, right, since it comes with two bags as well as the check list and the Mr Gold paper with the number. It doescome with the standard slip showing all 16 minifigures, right?I'm thinking it should be a tad bit heavier and bulky and should make for identification quite quick...
April 16, 201312 yr I don't have my handy dandy scientific scale so I can't say for sure on the weight difference, and yes it has the standard base plate and paper insert (just a different back side). There is a dot code for it of course, and as far as feel or anything else, all I can say is that it felt like any of the other thousands of series figs I've opened over the years. It does have an ever so slight softer crinkle to it because of the second bag, but seriously just feel for the staff (harry potter type wand). It's easier to feel than the hat. And just for Brickpicker so they can be the first in the world to publish it (since I love working with Ed & Jeff) is the dot code as shown below.

April 16, 201312 yr Yeah, if look back in the posts you'll see I posted a picture of it.Do you know what the website is that you can track how many Mr. Gold figs have been found? I can't seem to find that. BTW, how many bags did you open until you got Mr. Gold?
April 16, 201312 yr The website isn't active yet. I can only assume that they aren't going to launch it until "LEGO" officially starts selling them. As for the number of cases, it doesn't really matter since it was dumb luck anyways to find it.
April 17, 201312 yr John, thanks for your images and information. Everyone, John from Bricks and Minifigs is full of great LEGO information and has a chain of LEGO shops with a great inventory of new and used sets. If any of you are in the the Washington, Oregon or New Mexico areas, go check out their stores.
