  • I got a Mr. Gold about two weeks ago, #3006, at a KMART here in Los Angeles (3rd and Fairfax). I feel incredibly fortunate. My son and I have been collecting them all since series one, so ours will be

Wouldn't it be great if we had a one of those naked scanners that they do at the airport so we could see inside? Boom problem solved!

What are the odds this guy felt every single package? http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-series-10-Lego-minifig-figure-packs-Mr-Gold-/221214366608?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item3381675b90

Doesn't look like it. Read the description.

Hi! You are bidding on 100 unopened unsearched series 10 Lego mini figure packs. Possible rare Mr Gold? Email me with any questions.

I love it. A possible Mr Gold. The guy has no idea or haven't even tried. Or he did and will keep Mr Gold for himself and replace the one he took with another random mystery bag for the lot.

Still, 100 unopened packets for around $36 (the current bid) is pretty good.

Of course he tried. no way he tried........everyone on eBay is 100% honest ;)

36 bucks with 6 days left, that wont last

Nope.......some knucklehead that thinks this guy didn't smoosh these will pay top dollar! My low end guess would be 220.00

Of course he tried. no way he tried........everyone on eBay is 100% honest ;)I suppose we could take his word for it...then again, I`d be slightly more convinced if they were all still in original boxes and the sale was for 120 figs as opposed to 100.

Have any of you guys actually seen these in stores yet?

$220 / 100 = $2.2 per pack. Pretty good for CMF that is not even in the market yet.

I have to agree about one thing, the chances for getting Mr.Gold in those packets is very close to 0

Anyone hear the price of gold is down 6+% so far today????

Have any of you guys actually seen these in stores yet?

Nope. A couple members have claimed that they saw them at a couple Targets I think.

Anyone hear the price of gold is down 6+% so far today????

Not that I really care...Lego investor, not gold. If it goes down a lot, (we are talking $5 an ounce) I might buy some.

I'm glad they did this with the CMF's this time around and not a witch hunt for an exclusive Star Wars figure. I won't be kicking myself for not hunting one of these down or struggle to pay aftermarket prices to someone who did luck across one.

Anyone hear the price of gold is down 6+% so far today????

Yeah, time to give up on Mr. Gold and invest in the series 15 Mr. Platinum

The first one in hand has hit ebay: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/LEGO-71001-Minifigur-Serie-10-Mister-Gold-SUPERSELTEN-NR-865-von-5000-/261200943042?pt=DE_Allesf

The first one in hand has hit ebay:

I highly doubt anyone jumps on this for approx. $1,300 US. Number 865 of 5,000.

Number 865 out of 5,000, eh? Well I guess now we just wait for the other 4,999 to start popping up.

He or she's feedback on eBay looks credible too! Would like to see real pic though........

I don't see why it wouldn't be legit. If someone pays anywhere near $1,000 for this, then I'll accept your, "I told you so." ;)

Will we ever see the accepted price? Does that get published on the sold tab?

Yes, under "completed listings" you can see what items sold for. Unfortunately, if the seller accepts a Best Offer that is lower than the listed price, we won't see the final price, only a slash through the original price and a statement that a lower Best Offer price was accepted.

Here's a crazy part. He has 2 of them for sale!
