Lion's Knight Gone...

So, I got the email confirmation for my Lion Knights Castle at 12:03. It eventually got canceled because I guess they didn't have enough stock to last 3 minutes into the sale.

Silver lining though, I just got an email that the 2 gift with purchases just shipped by themselves without the castle for $0 charge.

Crazy how they had so fee of those in stock.  I have seen others get cancellation emails.  I am hoping my Batman sets still come.

Would be really interesting to see how many orders Lego received in the first 5 minutes of going live. I pre-loaded my cart with a Gringotts and was through the checkout before 12:01 EST, yet got the dreaded backorder email the next morning.

Moreover, a Lego enthusiast friend of mine did the same strategy with LKC, but had their ordered cancelled despite being through the checkout by 12:01. Nevertheless, they are still shipping the GWPSs to him as a goodwill gesture.

I wonder how many cancellations. Dumb to bother with a sale if stock is so limited.

Mini Knight's Castle has replaced the stupid bricks with $250 buy in as worst promo ever.

Return on dollar wise it is worse than Chima Fire Bike as well!

Should have been a real retro Castle minifigure and horse instead of mini builds. 
 

What set is “stupid bricks” I probably have a lot of those. 

on another note I sold one of my Star Trek shuttles for $100 keeping the other to see how it pans out in a couple of years.

$100 for the shuttle is a good price imo considering the enterprise will likely go on sale for $300 in the next couple years.

I paid $308 if all of the CB, RAK and PP, goes through and still have the three other GWPs left. So not bad. I’m not sure if the enterprise will remain a true Lego exclusive if so I doubt it will go on sale other than 2X VIP.

I bought Lions Knight for $300 last year, and that was a Lego exclusive..  I would pay $100 for a shuttle if I was in the market for one, I think it's justified.

Ha, I was finally able to sell those bricks last year after being "unapproved" for so long.
