Same, I've only kept a few of the line but recently picked up the T1 and Beetle at 20% off on their way out the door. Now I find myself trying to complete the collection.

Is there a definitive 'list' of what constitutes this line of vehicles? Some entries seem obvious, but others not so much:

  • 10220: Volkswagen T1 Camper Van (2011)
  • 10242: MINI Cooper MK VII (2014)
  • 10248: Ferrari F40 (2015)
  • 10252: Volkswagen Beetle (2016)
  • 10258: London Bus (2017)
  • 10262: James Bond Aston Martin DB5 (2018)
  • 10265: Ford Mustang (2019)
  • 10271: Fiat 500 (2020)

And then we have these:

  • 10274: Ghostbusters ECTO-1 (2020)
  • 10269: Harley-Davidson Fat Boy (2019)
  • 21307: Caterham Seven 620R (IDEAS 2017)
  • 10187: Volkswagen Beetle (2008)

So for the collectors, what is and is not part of the 'line'?

without trying I have them all ('cept the most recent Fiat, which is just an eventuality)

of those listed the Caterham seems to be the only clear dud, tho over half hasn't retired yet so too soon to call.  It's weird that almost all of them have a version mini-me

Caterham has been doing quite ok lately, sold most of mine for $120+ FBA, which was perfectly fine given that these were available at a discount in many places. I think my average buy-in was $35.

I have all of these but the Fiat, London Bus and 2008 Beetle. Fiat will be my next grab but still unsure if I even want the bus.

I enjoy the Creator Vehicles, but I will probably pass on the bus too.  I don't know what it is, but I'm not interested in that at all.  Looking forward to a large Porsche set.

Of your obvious list I have them all. Of the additional sets I do not yet have the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 (but planning to), and I also do not have the old Beetle, which I think doesn't belong in the list since it's made with a different design specification (no windows for example). But I do have both the Harley Fat Boy and the Caterham Seven in my collection.

But if you're listing the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 then you're missing the Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139). But then ... shouldn't the Tumbler also be included? Indeed where to draw the line. :P

Agreed. It's a slippery slope. Why not expand to all vehicles and include the 10226 Sopwith Camel too! LoL.

Perhaps my take on the line will be limited those vehicles that are licensed by the actual automobile manufacturer. For me, that should keep things under control. Nix the London bus and Ecto1...and the original Beetle due to it's massive size. Add Caterham 7 for posterity, in the same way that Market Street has been adopted by the modular buildings line.

For a limited time when you purchase the set, you’ll also get the LEGO Porsche Owner’s Pack which includes a Porsche wallet along with some art prints and a certificate of ownership. Check out more images of the set along with the promo item below.

My boss has a Porsche, I can't wait to flex my Porsche wallet and Certificate of Awesomeness on him.  Who's the boss now?

love GWPs they can't make more of...these will be gone in 60 seconds on VIP open

What!? Somehow I missed pics of this one, I think it looks amazing. Definitely a day one buy for me.

The LEGO creator car series (or the whatever the series names are/will be) has been simply awesome (as a fan). This and the Technic super car line are great for car enthusiast and LEGO fans alike.

My only gripe is a general lack of a consistent size ratio, but that probably comes w its own issues.

Wonder how many VIP "exclusive" GWP packages they'll produce?

57608_PACKSHOT_TURBO_CROPPED (3).jpg

should made the box slightly big enough so it would be a nice "base" for the car to be displayed on top. enclosing the Porsche Swag is a nice touch but a little more thought into the entire packaging would have knocked it out of the park.
