I don't really purchase the minifig series unless they are really cheap ($1 each or less) so I don't know if this is a big deal or not but one of my local Shopko stores had Series 5 in stock and was selling them for $3 each. So, those of you who have Shopko stores might be able to pick up some old series minifigs.

Thats unusual! And LUCKY!!!!!!! I try but I never can find series that old!!!! and unfortunately I don't have a Shopko near me! :(

That is abnormal. The minifigures are worth around $3.60 new. They are probably worth more if you "feel test" them without opening them. That will help you get more money for them if you resell them.

Nobody's going to get rich selling minifigures, and certainly not buying them at retail for $3 a whack. Interesting to see series 5 though, wonder where Shopko got cases of those from?

My local Meijer had series 5s for awhile. I would pick a couple up every time I went. All gone now :(

That's crazy a box of them just appears. They would have been nice to pick up this week with the multiple deals Shopko had going on. This wasn't my most favorite of series, but the gladiator minifigure is one of my all time favorites. It was one of the first ones I actually opened because I had to see the helmet.

I wish I had a Shopko near me! They seem to have some fantastic in store deals. While their online deals are great as well, most of the good sets and bargin buys seem to always be out of stock.
