I think those sets (the bigger ones in Friends theme) are rarely discounted

Here's the link.

Just bought 2 - one will be for our girls, they have a number of other Friends sets too :)

I believe those are good investments. Friends theme are really hot. Should be easy profit around next xmas time too.

Combine them to make Olivias Funhouse.

  •   Dude, you are swimming in the LEGO.

  • Not too bad of a price. Amazon had these for $57 a couple weeks back. I wouldn't be surprised if they have them at this price again at some point before they go EOL. Also if you have a B&a

Well, it's 15% off if we go with the current MSRP shown at LEGO.com (MSRP = $74.99). According to Brickpicker.com, MSRP is $69.99, which I guess used to be the MSRP before LEGO.com increased it. Still, I think a 15% discounted (if using $74.99 MSRP), or slightly discounted (if using $69.99 MSRP) "big" Friends set is still pretty good.

I noticed many of the '12 sets are now $5.00 more. Is this a common LEGO practice? I haven't really noticed it in any other theme/set before.

I've noticed this too. I have seen at least 3 or 4 sets that the retail price is higher than what is listed on Brickpicker. Did the prices go up or are they entered incorrectly on Brickpicker?

Just checked multiple websites on the web and it appears that it did go up to $74.99. Even Wally's world has it for $74.xx. So, I guess they decided to bump the price up.

i wish they would do more bigger sets for friends instead of those these than 100 piece sets that are every where

I think these are geared towards younger girls so the sets are smaller. If the sets turn out to be a great success, I think they will start to expand in to larger ones. Just my 2 cents. FYI - Looks like Amazon sold out at this price. Glad I got my 2!

IMO the curve is not significant. I store my sets standing on their sides and then turn the next row up 90 degrees to distribute the weight. The ends never come in to play. I guess if you wanted to stand them on the end they might tip. I don't think there are any sets out there that are hard to store except for all the ridiculous globes (like 9675).
