Doubtful, they could barely keep other companies from straight copying their designs.

Is there anything to keep them from making more than 5,000?

Hopefully not. I could see them doing something like "Due to overwhelming demand", but we should know in time to cancel.

Still available in the USA I grabbed 2 more on my secondary account.

Seeing this overwhelming demand for castles, I don't know why lego refuses to bring a full line back.

Besides their words on the website, no.

"Each designer set is a limited edition, and the quantity produced will be up to 5,000."

Exactly, or maybe they'll just leap frog this thing into the Ideas line.  There are already some salty comments on Bricklink.

funny how the high sales velocity of the castle increased the sales velocity of the castle.  Also Crazy to think that I have 1/1000th of the total production amount headed my way.

Got mine in just in time, almost forgot about this.

No love for the rest, still on the fence for the fishing boat. Was looking forward to the Observatory.

Literally missed this by minutes. Was getting my son ready for camp. Oh well. Congrats to those who got a castle or five!

I don't see that. I'm on the Bricklink page and I only see the Sold Out button greyed out. I also went to LEGO Shop at Home and clicked the Shop Now button for the set and it brings me to the same Sold Out Bricklink page.

I bought 5 x

Castle

Fishing Boat

Pursuit of Flight

Im not worries since I think we can cancel until shipped so we should be able to see how htings shake out. However there are 3 distinct negatives relative to last bricklinks offerings:

1) 5k produced vs 3k

2) No printed Instructions / possible inferior box presentation

3) For the castle - admittedly I am not a castle aficionado, but im concerned ppl already scratched their castle itch with lowenstein castle. (which to me looks better anyways)

Must be because it was already in my cart. I tried readding and see the same as you. Sorry.

Boat is now fully funded (just passed 3000 orders). The colors remind me of the Maersk sets. Might be good thing?

methinks 2PM sellout. Once we hit 4k FOMO will kick all those fence sitters on over to buy. zero risk anyways with this long preorder period
