A Report by and on the site "Brick Fanatics" Talks of launching failed Ideas sets through BrickLink or an ADP second wave. Sounds like a survey going.  Didn't yet read too much into it. Sounds interesting to me for sure though.

Only the castle is selling well, the rest are not really moving.

Finally got it to work with the castle the red  pre-order button appeared on BL which took me back to lego to complete the purchase.

Kind of shocked to see what sets are moving and what aren't.

Now I feel a fool for not being interested in the castle. Debating quickly grabbing one but 180 is a lot for an unsure thing.

Yah, castle has cross 3000. Fishing Boat maybe around 1200 at present.

That Castle appears to have only minutes remaining.

Curious, I'm getting non-stop 505 errors now.  And when I do finally get through to one of the sets there is no purchase button.  I'm going to check back later.  I got an order in on the castle so I'm happy.

There seems to be regional restrictions, I'm not allowed to buy any more castles to send to Switzerland but ok to ship to France. Don't wait as we don't know what the regional limits are.

No, I just grabbed 4 more castles.

Where did the button even appear on the listing page? I haven't been able to see any thing pop-up and the pages don't seem to be loading anything further. Really just testing for round 2 of projects, but this process seems hit or miss.

Lucky you, I got 2 and decided to go for the limit after seeing the demand and saw this.

Just picked up a second castle.  Figure that set is gone within the hour.

Castles going to be worth money - Lowenstein took a week to reach target or so as far as I remember

Selling so well, I decided to get 2 more castles..4 total.

 

Europe is sold out on the castles.

A little off topic - could Lego stop someone from producing printed instructions for these sets?  I could see a nice set of printed instructions for the castle selling very well.

Doubtful, they could barely keep other companies from straight copying their designs.

Is there anything to keep them from making more than 5,000?

These will be available for free on open source sites.

Hopefully not. I could see them doing something like "Due to overwhelming demand", but we should know in time to cancel.
