That was a interesting read, thank you. I don't think their line is that blued though regarding weapons. They state they don't want kids to be reminded of events or atrocities of things that have happened in the past. The Death Star, James Bond, etc. never happened and no kids’ ancestry died because of those things.  Castle swords? Can't really trace it to a specific family like the more recent events.
