I thought it might be fun to see what peoples predictions are on which sets may be discounted on Lego's Black Friday event this year.

Of the so called exclusives possible candidates imo are as follows:

 

30 percent off each

Saturn V  (maybe a repeat of last year)

Treehouse

Flintstones

Disney Train and Station  (maybe a repeat of last year)

Tantive IV 

Vestas Wind Turbine

Roller Coaster - I really have a feeling that this will be in.

 

I would love to hear everyone else's predictions.

Is Tantive IV unpopular? It's an iconic ship and the exclusive minifigs are going for a decent amount of cash on the secondary market. I haven't bothered with it myself but, that's because there are a couple of superior MOCs. The MOCs are pretty steep so the official set is a decent enough model if you want something off the shelf.

The set does nothing for me personally. Never loved the ship. I think what holds it back is it missed the UCS tag. Just my thoughts.

I never cared for it... but if it’s 30% off plus VIP points i may pick one up

Don’t think the current administration is going to act on a stimulus prior to leaving office. and even if one did pass, seems unlikely it will hit before the Holidays.

not a political post. Just not expecting any sort of stimulus anytime soon.

I didn't think of the missing UCS tag. I suppose you probably get people that only buy UCS ships.

That was confirmed to me aswell. Manager still wouldnt let me know what sets.

This to replace the Charles Dickens lol can you imagine. Lego still haven't officially confirmed that promo. 

This brick though imo seems a bit crud as a promo.

Double points also on those dates.

That seems like a great deal.

I used BrickLink to get the parts to build the red one and it was really inexpensive.  I can't imagine having to spend $150 or $200 or whatever it'll be for this.  I added an extra layer of tiles in mine so I could easily open it.  I just don't know what to store in there!

There'll be some sort of poster for VIPs too on that weekend.

that was the worst f'n return on a promo ever.  Not sure how a 2nd one was needed and how that would help an already shitty first one.

I used BrickLink to get the parts to build the red one and it was really inexpensive.  I can't imagine having to spend $150 or $200 or whatever it'll be for this.  I added an extra layer of tiles in mine so I could easily open it.  I just don't know what to store in there!

there is supposedly a small xmas tree type promo like the surfer van thing was last year.  Not sure if generic poly style or not.  Think would be a one day like the surfer van was although that one came back later on.

Better have your carts filled up $200+ now and have 2 or 3 backup plans in mind. Don't expect anything OOS now to come back for this either. So much OOS at SAH right now. Pretty good looking double dip GWP situation on top of double points. 

Im guessing 10274 will be toos by then (avail 11/15), noentheless that will be my goal for a personal build. Otherwise might get corner garage or bookshop+ for a flip.
