studded SNOT domes ala UCS R2-D2 and BB8 sets ...is a weird look...can't say I love it or hate it..but very LEGO.

I don't understand what you mean. Plates have studs on them, tiles do not. How can one over do it with plates and the other with studs if both of those have studs on them? Did you mean one over did it with tiles and the other with plates?

The current helmets feels like the version 1  of the VW beetle (10187), maybe it was intentional not to have a studless look so that it looks brick built.

That has to be a price error.  If you call Target CS, they should price match LEGO at the very least.

LEGO is extremely frustrating. They release this line right before May the 4th knowing it will sell out before getting the GWP.

Don't get me wrong i know why they do it. $$$$$$$$$$$

but its just frustrating as a fan because you are almost forced to preorder it now without a GWP because it will be sold out prior to M4.

New R2-D2's dome looks funky. maybe I should've kept the original. But who knows? Sometimes you gotta see the whole package.

retracting jets, or especially a light saber ejector hatch would make up for any aesthetic concerns...also they should have an optional Jabba Barge tray

10225 value will take hit for sure. It looks too similar. Glad I sold mine last month.

No thanks. I never liked how the fan community makes fun of their deaths. They raised Luke Skywalker and were burned to death. Show some respect. Granted Lucas never gave them much respect either. Luke is more bummed out when Kenobi dies.
