Imo I much prefer the arches to the studs, it looks way more accurate. It seems like they've knocked it out the park on this one.

I have a feeling that there is a civil war of sorts within TLG and it's team of designers in terms of studs vs smooth.  I can see the purist side wanting the studs because "That's LEGO" and the IP Authentic side pushing for more new "Smooth & Curved" pieces to bring more realism into the models...because "that's where LEGO is going".

I have built a lot of 90s sets recently. Some sets are better brick built (like castles), and some aren't. Some need upgrades (Eldorado Fortress) and some don't.

Someone else had a post a week or two ago about this and I think the brick built ones are better than 500 1x1 tiles and slopes. I particularly think that's there are too many small pieces now, especially in modulars. Just make me a big freaking building with some nice outside features - who actually plays with the inside?

That said, if you can round out a head, then round it out.

I am getting a little concerned that May the 4th will be lackluster if the official store does not get some new product or at least the cantina set back in stock.  Nothing available now is causing me to want to spend money to get the mini tatooine set.

Instructions are up online for the Tatooine GWP. 2 new printed elements, 1 that should be exclusive to this set. 

Of course I have the other 3 and will want to get this. Dammit, I try really hard not to get Star Wars sets and then this happens.
