Stone wars is reporting that LEGO is retiring it’s road baseplates permanently in favor of a brick-built alternative. Maybe time to invest in some base plates or stock up if you have a city.

    That'll do the job on increasing piece count.

    Allowing for a higher MSRP, while also lowering the production costs for LEGO.
