Any word on a GWP? Mini batwing? Not sure how much of a rush I’ll be in if there is no incentive here. 

I was in Lego Store yesterday and asked the manager about GWP, she said not likely as she had not heard anything yet.

The existing mini robot GWP and (in store only) vehicles polybag carry over to Oct 25, so may be available with Batwing on the 21st if stock holds up.

The employees were building the Batwing for in store display, it is huge.

Asked Monday at local store and also said hadn’t heard of GWP so unlikely since drops this week

The Batwing went live at 10:55 CST.  When I ordered mine, since the day hadn't officially ended, it awarded me double VIP points and the Robot giveaway.  Let's see if that last once a human takes a look at it.

I believe 2600 is double, and normally would be 1300 points 

And, just like that, looks like the Batwing is done until Nov 1.  No option to buy now.  That didn't take long.

ah...according to my checkout page I received 2600 VIP pts as well...I hope it stands because I purposely forgoed putting in my VIP $50 credit because of the rush

Good choice.  I tried to use $110 worth of points on Diagon Alley when it opened up.  By the time that I had everything typed in and checked, I missed getting one.

thanks...Also; I actually did remember to turn on rakuten...I ain't gonna scoff at 2.5% back on top of the creditcard cashback. So if the double pts hold (10% off), and i can flip GWP for $20, I got the wing for $153 (plus tax)...already ahead...looking to do real damage  via QFLL

Ya, that went quicker than I imagined it would go with no" special" GWP! But offer of two GWP and Double points wasn't Bad. Got my order in while still could even with dinkin around with redeeming points. I got lucky.

honestly i ordered  early on a hunch remembering how someone here didn't get a GWP because they ordered 11:59...thought maybe the same kind of thing happened in reverse. Honestly didn't expect Batwing to sellout until a couple of days

I received that with another order this month. It actually contains a variety of items. I'll probably hand parts of it out to buyers this holiday season who spend a lot locally. 

Just can’t get excited for this one like the Batmobile. Think I’ll wait until the Holiday GWP to order.

It's available now. I'm going to wait too since the two GWP's (VIP Gift Set 5006008 and MINDSTORMS® Mini Robots 40413) don't do anything for me. 

Back in stock, ships Nov 19. I checked it last night and it was OOS.

WTF is going on at Amazon?  Are they not allowing 3rd Party sellers sell the Batwing before February?  You can't tell me that no one is sending it in for FBA or that at least a few sellers aren't qualified to self-fulfill during Q4.




 

This happens every year...Amazon gates certain sets around the holidays, but the gates are not universally applied.  There are a bunch of sets that I'm gated on that other people I know aren't...it's just par for the course.
