October 4, 20205 yr Referenced where? Above the word Colosseum. Also, on mobile i can only see the picture on the thread preview, not the thread view itself.
October 4, 20205 yr I wonder what SPOP means.I believe it says SPQR. From Wikipedia:SPQR, an abbreviation for Senātus Populusque Rōmānus, is an emblematic abbreviated phrase referring to the government of the ancient Roman Republic. It appears on Roman currency, at the end of documents made public by an inscription in stone or metal, and in dedications of monuments and public works. The last phrase seems particularly relevant here.

October 5, 20205 yr Aw, come on! Don’t be down on it, we want LEGO to make huge sets for adults! I’m excited to build with the most pieces ever! LEGO keeps pushing the envelope, I love it. My wallet doesn’t though
October 5, 20205 yr I'm negative on this one. Out of all landmarks to give a 9k piece treatment Roman Colliseum? C'mon. MAybe Burj Khalifa. Now THAT would be an epic build. Maybe NY Skyline. Buckingham Palace. White House and Capitol. Eiffel Tower. Golden Gate Bridge. Literally any of the landmarks from the architechture line.
October 5, 20205 yr Come on LEGO. Hook us up with some Maximus and Commodus mini-figs! Love the set. Although, I love anything Ancient Rome.

Didn't see someone else had already replied with the same information. 🙂 Edited October 5, 20205 yr by HandyHand

October 5, 20205 yr Popular Post where are people finding the leaked images?!SAH’s Only Fans page. For the best brick built soft core content. $5 gets you a leaked pic$10 gets you GWP info$20 gets you a preorder link$50 gets you a private video clip of another picker swearing this set will be “the one.”$100 gets a cloned version of yourself shouting at you for 30 seconds about how stupid your decision was. $1000 gets you the ban hammer and unlimited calls to CS where you get to beg and plead to a roving cast of reps from different countries.
October 5, 20205 yr Sorry to poo-poo on your parades, but I prefer to wait for the official announcement and release. It could only end up disappointing otherwise 😉 Whatever it is, I would expect a GWP worth at least £100 upon release and VIP access only for the first 5 years! - LOL. In my collection, I only have Architecture/Landmark sets of places that I've actually been to, and this incredible monument in Rome is one of them. Edited October 5, 20205 yr by BorderTerrier
October 5, 20205 yr What on Earth are you guys on about, is this a ribbing of new members to see if they are worthy of "the club"? In another thread, I did get a response from TabbyToys (who I'm being confused with), but she new nothing of BrickPicker, has never joined a Lego forum, but does live about 5 miles from me, as do a couple of other AFOLs. I wanted to meet, but not permitted due to the COVID-19 bollocks. It appears that my responses are confusing some of you with this other mystery being, but I've not been in "the game" long and don't hold anywhere near the inventory or experience that you think I do. I'm certainly no Lego expert, but I have been dabbling on eBay with other products for many years. I started off with computer parts, then ladies handbags (yes! good ones from charity shops) and, more recently, craft and exhibition signage materials. carini26... You seem a little worried, why would that be? Sorry to deviate from the subject so, keep calm and carry on 😉

A 9k piece Golden Gate Bridge would be epic...I might be a little biased though since I live in the SF Bay Area.
