I have to a small degree.  I did last year as well.  I have been preparing for the raffle, but I always buy a few more of the good stuff.

I too had some moms tell me the same. "You're saving my butt here!" "OMG, I'm so glad you had these for sale. My kids' Christmas has been saved!"

With the recent price increase by Lego, how do we see this set going forward?

I believe it was one of the biggest increase out of all the sets that got their prices bumped.

 

I believe I could flip my sets for a profit right now just based off this alone, but is it worth holding onto? I could see newer folks reluctant to buy this set at this current price point and it doing fairly well when it eventually retires because of that.
