All of the Monster Fighter sets are probably going to retire soon. (Exclude the Haunted House.)

The Ninjago Fangpyre Wrecking Ball set is all but gone other than TRU. Let me know if you have any luck getting an order processed, as I have had 3 different credit cards rejected.

The "Haunted House" is a LEGO exclusive that was not released as part of the main MONSTER FIGHTERS theme. It's more like the set 'compliments' the theme. Plus the price makes it closer to one of the modulars, so it could be available for a while.

I believe the only place you can get it is TRU because it was retired this past Christmas. Lego listed it as retired on their site.

TRU always seems to have Lego sets that have retired 1-2 months ago lying somewhere in the back for someone to claim.

Once the big boys in TRU say time's up, they take it off the shelves and keep them there probably until someone asks for it.

Not sure why they don't just put them on clearance and let customers actually see them and buy them for full price.

Imagine all those sets....waiting for some Brick Picker to claim it. This is one of the few things I like about TRU.

Do not buy any of these, they are so over priced at TRU that the BOGO 50% off doesn't even get the sets as cheap as you can buy from amazon, and the sale certainly doesn't warrant making any rash buying decisions, trust me those do happen but this isn't one of those. I am not loosing any sleep over the possibilities I missed from this sale.

There were some good deals from the ebay store because they included some of the large exclusive sets in the sale that the stores do not.

i found out that TRU will price match!!!

so i printed out walmart and target prices and i was told they will match AND give me the BOGO!!!
